This week we’re headed even deeper into the Amazon rain forest of eastern Ecuador to visit a traditional Huaorani community called Apaike, where we meet the local people, see how they live, and even get married again in true Huaorani fashion! Enjoy!
This week we venture out from the Huaorani Ecolodge with our Huaorani guide Eme to explore the unspoiled Amazon rainforest here in this part of eastern Ecuador, and learn how the Huaorani people have lived in – and lived off of – this beautiful but dangerous forest for hundreds of years.
