This journey begins with a nice class II+ warm-up down the Mulaute River that progresses into exciting class III white water rapids down an unforgettable river!

We depart early from Quito to Santo Domingo. We put-in the Mulaute river, which begins with a class II+ section. This river has incredible tropical surroundings, allowing us to observe a large diversity of birds, plants and mammals.

Farther down the river we´ll hit clear water and class III waves. After an unforgettable day of rafting, we camp at the confluence of the Toachi and the Blanco on a private river beach.

Expect bigger class III and III+ rapids on the Blanco river, which flows from the western slopes of the Ecuador's Andes. On our return to Quito, we pass through small towns like Los Bancos, Nanegalito and Calacali.
