We leave Quito and reach
our put in. We raft down the Quijos River for two
days through a fascinating class IV - IV+
section, rafting through expansive unexplored
rainforest and cloud forest canyons. Snaking
through the eastern foothills of Ecuador's Andes,
the crystal clear waters of the Quijos river
churn up a seemingly endless series of big rapids
on the way to the mighty Amazon. |

Today we put into the
famous Misahualli River for a thrill through the
forbidden Misahualli Canyon. Warm whitewater, a
densely forested gorge, and multiple class IV and
IV+ rapids (including the legendary Cassanova
Falls) makes this descent one of the most
unforgettable single-day white water sections on
the planet. |

Flowing from the
glaciers of the volcanoes of Ecuador, the
Jatunyacu River offers big volume, big waves, and
fun holes. The spectacular Amazon - Andean

and great rainforest areas to explore. Watch out
for "Guide´s Revenge" as we finish off
our whitewater rafting adventure with a bang. |
