Travelling from Ecuador to Peru or Peru to Ecuador. There are buses with Cooperativa Loja International that travel directly between Loja and Piura only stopping at the border in Macará for immigration purposes. It is easier to cross at Macará but you can also cross the border at Huaquillas.
