You can visit the City of Baños which is 30 minutes away; Baños is the gateway to La Selva (Amazon rain forest). Here, the artisans have built their shops to sell the most amazing variety of indigenous products. You can learn how they work, the materials they use, and the way they live. Baños offers you a variety of activities, you can visit The Devil's Caldron and Inés María Waterfalls, or shop around the main plaza.

You can also visit the indigenous Salasaca Market, which is 35 min. away from Hacienda Manteles, interact with the Salasaca people, learn about their traditions, culture, and language (Quichua).
