For this tour, we identified the Bike tours with the following scale: Easy-Moderate-Difficult.

Day 01:

Arrival in Quito, transfer to a tourist class Hostel. In the afternoon City Tour (depending on time of arrival of group). Evening: welcome cocktail and programme briefing.

Day 02:

Visit the Cuicocha Lake: Bike from Otavalo to Mojanda 2 hours, 2.600m - 3400m altitud, lunch in Mojanda lake. In the afternoon we bike 2 hours more to Malchingui. Overnight in 2 Man tents. Dinner and Accomodation. “Moderate”

Day 03:

Malchingui-Cochasqui: bike from Malchingui to Cochasqui 2 hours 2.400m - 2.500m and from Cochasqui to Tabacundo 1.5 hours. From here we drive to Hosteria Chorlavi 1 hour by Bus. Overnight in Chorlavi Inn. Dinner and Accommodation. “Easy”

Day 04:

Chorlavi-Chota: After Breakfast we drive 30 minutes by Bus then we bike from Ibarra to Jurac Cruz 2.700 to 3.800m 4 hours, lunch and we continue biking downhill till el Chaupi at 1.500m 3 hours. Accommodation in Tents. Dinner and accomodation. “Difficult”

Day 05:

Chota - Papallacta: After Breakfast we drive to the south 3 hours to Papallacta Pass, from el paso we bike to Laguna de Papallacta 4.200m – 4.000m 1 hours. Lunch. Papallacta laguna - Thermas de Papallacta Inn 4.000m - 3.800m 2 hours. “Easy-Moderate”. After the hard Velo-Ride we relax in the Papallacta Hot springs Overnight in Thermas de Papallacta Lodge.

Day 06:

Papallacta – El Chaco - San Rafael Waterfall: Bike from hier via Interoceanica Downhill trough the Sub-Tropical Rain Forest till San Rafael 3.800m - 1.900m 4 Hours “Moderate”, lunch on the way. Finally we Walk 40 minutes to visit the Waterfall San Rafael, The highest waterfall Ecuadors (150m). We spent the night in Tents.

Day 07:

Jungle Excursion: We drive from San Rafael to Baeza 2 Hours and from here we Bike 4 hours to Tena and finally to Isla Amazonica Lodge, on the Shores of the Napo River, from 1800m - 500m in the Jungle. “Easy” Lunch on Route, Accommodation and Dinner.

Day 08:

Excursions in the Jungle, learning about the rain forest its different life systems, Swimming in the rivers canoeing and relaxing. No biking. Brakfast / Lunch / Dinner.

Day 09:

Canoe Excursion on the napo River, Short thek through the Jungle with native guides and Naturalist guides. After Lunch we drive through Puyo over the Waterfall Avenue to Baños. No biking. Brakfast / Lunch / Dinner.

Day 10:

After breakfast we Bike from Baños to Riobamba 4 Hour “moderate”, passing by Penipe, from 1800m to 2650m. Lunch on the route, from Riobamba we drive 30 minutes to Posada la Estacion 3.700m were we will spend the night. Dinner and accmmodation.

Day 11:

Drive 1 hour to Tisaleo. Bike from here to cevallos-Quero-Coca cola - Salasaca. 6 Hours “moderate”altitude from 3900m to 2650m Lunch on the route. Return to Ambato 30minutes by bus. Overnight in Ambato Hotel Villa Hilda. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 12:

Ambato Refugio del Chimborazo: We drive 1 hour to el Arenal and from here we bike to the Chimborazo hut 6 hours “difficult” altitud from 3.800 to 4.800m. lunch on the way. In the afternoon we drive or Bike to Salinas de guaranda were we will spend the night. Dinner and accommodation in an hotel.

Day 13:

From salinas we drive 1 hour, then we bike to Gallo Rumi 4 hours “Difficult” altitude 3100 to 4.000m, box lunch on the route, and from here down hill to san Juan 2 hours “moderate” 4000m to 3000m. drive to Riobamba Accomodation at the Alberge Abraspungo.

Day 14:

Traintrip and drive to Cuenca: travel by train from Riobamba bis Chanchan (after devils nouse) 5 hours. After that we drive to Ingapirca, visit to the Inca ruins and finally drive to Cuenca. Overnight at Hostal Inca Real.

Day 15:

Citytour and rest Day for the whole group. Hostal Inca Real

Day 16:

Drive to Cajas 1 hour. Bike in the Recreation Area of cajas 5 hours “moderate” . Altitud 3.400m - 4.200m. Overnight in Tents.

Day 17:

Bike on the road Molleturo-Naranjal (to the coast) 6 hours “easy” from 4.000m to 1.500m. lunch and return by Bus to the Campside.

Day 18:

Bike in the valley of Sigzig-Chordeleg-Paute: after breakfast we bike down hill to Sigzig-Paute 6 hours “moderate - difficult” from 4.000m to 1.800m, lunch on the route. In the afternoon we drive back to Cuenca. Hostal Inca Real.

Day 19:

Flight Cuenca Quito in the morning, City tour in Quito and rest. Overnight in Quito.

Day 20:

Drive to Latacunga-Saqusili 2:1/2 until to the high point, from here we Bike to Sumbagua-Quilotoa - Chugchilan. 7 hours “difficult”. Lunch on the route, Overnight in the Black Sheep Inn.

Day 21:

In the morning we bike 4 hours in the direction to Quito and after lunch we drive back to Quito. Overnight in a Hotel.

Day 22:

Transfer to the airport, flight back to Europe.
